Well of al-Ihn (Bi'r al-Yusayrah)

A historic well near Quba. By tradition the Prophet ﷺ renamed it al-Yusayrah ('the Easy One').

History and Seerah

By tradition it was once called 'Al-Asirah' (the difficult) and the Prophet ﷺ renamed it 'Al-Yusayrah' (the easy). Changing harsh names to good ones was his practice. The stone shaft and palm grove have been preserved.
