Pilgrims spend the night here after Arafah, pray Maghrib and Isha together, and remember Allah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram.

History and Seerah

The blessed sacred site (al-Mash'ar al-Haram) between Arafat and Mina where pilgrims spend the night before the 10th of Dhul Hijjah under the open sky, praying Maghrib and Isha together. The Quran says: 'When you depart from Arafat, remember Allah at the Sacred Monument' (2:198). Pebbles for the Jamarat can be picked up here or in Mina.
