Hejaz Railway Museum
MadinahMuseum
The Ottoman-era station at the end of the Hejaz Railway, now a museum of the line that once ran from Damascus to Madinah.
History and Seerah
The railway reached Madinah in 1908, so pilgrims could travel from Damascus in days instead of weeks. It was badly damaged during the First World War and never reopened. The museum's first phase opened in 2013.
Visitor tips
In 2025 it was reported closed for renovation; check before you go. Masjid al-Suqya stands in the same grounds.
